{"id":5634,"date":"2018-07-17T13:00:59","date_gmt":"2018-07-17T16:00:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/barker.edu.ar\/web2\/?p=5634"},"modified":"2018-07-17T13:05:20","modified_gmt":"2018-07-17T16:05:20","slug":"emun-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/barker.edu.ar\/web2\/emun-2018\/","title":{"rendered":"EMUN 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Nuevamente, m\u00e1s de 500 alumnos de colegios de Argentina y Uruguay participaron del Modelo de Naciones Unidas desarrollado \u00edntegramente en idioma ingl\u00e9s y organizado por ESSARP.<\/p>\n<p>El evento, que se desarroll\u00f3 en esta oportunidad los d\u00edas 22 y 23 de junio en\u00a0<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>St. Catherine\u2019s Moorlands School, tuvo como\u00a0tem\u00e1tica global\u00a0\u00ab<em>Cities and sustainable urban development for communities\u00bb.\u00a0<\/em>All\u00ed, los alumnos de ES 5 y ES 6 que tomaron parte\u00a0asumieron el rol de enviados de las delegaciones de Arabai Saudita, Chile y Benin, al afrontar las tem\u00e1ticas de cada comisi\u00f3n:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>GA1 International Security and Disarmament\u00a0<\/strong>-Implementing measures to combat cyberwarfare<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p><strong>GA3 Social, Humanitarian and Cultural\u00a0<\/strong>-The question of the rise of xenophobia and ultranationalist movements<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p><strong>GA4 Special Political and DecolonisatioN\u00a0<\/strong>-The position of the Rohingya people<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p><strong>GA6 Legal\u00a0<\/strong>-Criminal accountability of United Nations officials and experts on missions<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Security Council\u00a0<\/strong>-The situation in North Korea<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p><strong>ECOSOC\u00a0<\/strong>-Promoting sustainable urbanisation -The question of transparency in financing sustainable development<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Environment Commission (EC)\u00a0<\/strong>-Promoting sustainable tourism towards economic growth -Enhancing renewable energy incentives<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Human Rights Council (HRC)\u00a0<\/strong>-Protection of the human rights of illegal migrants -Promoting education of refugee and displaced children<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Special Conference on Cities and Sustainable Urban Development for Communities\u00a0<\/strong>-Promoting the creation of more inclusive cities -Measures to empower city\u2019s leadership and citizen\u2019s participation<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Peacebuilding Commission\u00a0<\/strong>-Measures to prevent the recruitment and radicalisation of young persons by international terrorist groups -Promoting the involvement of non-state actors in education<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>El ejercicio de investigar, adoptar un posicionamiento cultural e ideol\u00f3gicamente diferente al propio, encontrar puntos fuertes y d\u00e9biles en las posturas\u00a0 de la propia delegaci\u00f3n y de otras representaciones, negociar, argumentar, elaborar documentos de tinte diplom\u00e1tica, expresarse en p\u00fablico, hacer concesiones y mucho m\u00e1s, deja una marca de aprendizaje y una experiencia colaborativa sumamente positiva. Por este motivo, a\u00f1o a a\u00f1o, alumnos de Barker intervienen en este y otros modelos similares, a fin de desarrollar habilidades de este calibre.<\/p>\n<p>Este a\u00f1o, adem\u00e1s, uno de nuestros alumnos fue uno de los \u00abperiodistas\u00bb acreditados para registrar la conferencia.<\/p>\n<p>Felicitaciones para todos los alumnos por su compromiso y sensacional desempe\u00f1o durante el Modelo.
