Junior and Senior Forums
Our school took part in both the Interschool Junior and Senior Forums held at Northlands Olivos.
A group of students from Senior II put questions to the two competing teams and actively listened to the debates on “Given the risks it presents, internet should be banned from schools” and “Single-sex schools are better for education.”
On the other hand Senior V and VI students participated as Panel Members and shared their views on “Should cellphones be banned in schools or should they be allowed?” and “Should video-sharing sites include boundaries and bans for the sake of society´s greater good?”
The students enjoyed the experience and valued the possibility of sharing their views and listening to opposing views on topics which are close to their interests and the interests of the society of which they are a part.
